Here’s a video from YouTube that talks about reality from a physicist's perspective. I thought it would be a nice addition to the articles I have posted recently. The main speaker’s name is Brian Greene. Greene is a professor of physics and mathematics at Columbia University and a bestselling author. He has become known in the mainstream through his books for the general public such as The Elegant Universe, The Hidden Reality, The Fabric of the Cosmos, and Icarus at the Edge of Time.
In this video, he talks with Amir D. Aczel (a mathematician and science writer) at the Museum of Science regarding the concept of the multiverse and the possibility of parallel universes (concepts that you can also find in Hindu cosmology). It’s a bit long (1hr & 18mins), but listening to guys like Greene is definitely a great way to expand your horizons if you’re not into mathematics, art, meditation, psychedelic drugs, and other wacky activities. Also, just in case you’re interested, the multiverse theory was interpreted in films like The One (Jet Li, Jason Statham, et. al.) in 2001 and Source Code (Jake Gyllenhaal, Michelle Monaghan, et. al.) in 2011.
